Before you start decorating this holiday season, think about exchanging your old Christmas lights for new energy-efficient ones.
The South Bay Environmental Services Center is sponsoring an exchange through Friday that allows households to swap two strands of old lights for a pair of miniature, white LED ones.
Drop by the center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 3868 Carson St., No. 110, Torrance.
Supplies are limited, so lights are being offered first-come, first-served.
For more, link to the Environmental Services Center's Web page or call 310-543-3022.
